Red Ribbon Week is October 22rd – October 26th

Red Ribbon Week commemorates the ultimate sacrifice made by DEA Special Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, who died at the hands of drug traffickers in Mexico while fighting the battle against illegal drugs to keep our country and children safe.

In honor of Red Ribbon Week, we ask that you join us in the fight against illegal drugs!

Monday is “Red Ribbon Day”.  Everyone is encouraged to wear as much RED as possible.   Please distribute the Ribbons.

Tuesday is “Hats Off to Being Kind”. Everyone should wear a hat.  Discuss Kindness and make a big deal when someone shows it.

Wednesday is “Team Up Against Drugs”. Everyone is encouraged to wear a shirt from their favorite team.  Talk about how drugs can keep you from being part of a team.

Thursday is “Cigarettes Can’t Find Me”.    Everyone is asked to wear camouflage.  Talk about addition and how hard it is to stop smoking.

Friday is “Super Suns Say NO to Bullies” Everyone is encouraged to wear superhero clothes.  Discuss what Bullying is and what to do if you think you are being bullied.
