Summer Testing

The window for nominations for summer gifted and talented testing is open for the month of April.  Nominations should be sent to Stephanie Buck at slbuck@conroeisd by April 30.  Any student who has already been tested this year is not eligible to test again at this time.

  • English Kinder-8th (no Pre-kindergarten at this time) will test Tuesday, May 28-Thursday, May 30 at Bush Elementary from 8:00am -11:00 11:00am.

  • GT Department will test all English-speaking students referred.

  • ALL students will need Parent Permission to Test signed. Permission slips must be returned to Stephanie Buck before May 15. Without the Parent Permission, students will be denied entry.

  • All students will be tested in both IOWA and CogAT.  Students may not take partial tests or skip around. They must be present for every day.

  • Confirmation letter will be sent to parents, from the GT department, as we get closer to testing.

  • Spanish testers (K- 4) will be tested in May on our campus. (Dates to be determined) Parents will need to sign and return permission slip by May 15.
